A portion of Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica will permanently close as the Expo Line expansion to the Westside continues.
Beginning Monday, Phase 2 of the Expo Light Rail Line Project will permanently shut down eastbound Colorado Avenue, between Fourth and Fifth streets.
Westbound Colorado Avenue will also be affected: only one through-lane and one left-turn lane will be available between Fourth and Fifth streets.
Other affected areas include the Fourth and Fifth streets exits from the 10 Freeway, as well as northbound and southbound Fourth Street.
Northbound and southbound Fifth Street will remain open for turns onto Colorado Avenue.
