Power Outages Keep Schools Closed

Pasadena schools and 18 LAUSD campuses were shut on Friday as crews struggled to restore power.

Schools in Pasadena remained closed on Friday, as did 18 campuses in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Officials in both districts said classes were canceled because of ongoing power outages due to this week's high winds. The districts are aiming to re-open the schools on Monday.
