A preliminary magnitude-3.4 earthquake struck near Malibu Friday morning.
The temblor was reported in the Pacific Ocean about six miles southwest of Malibu Beach around 10:03 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey.
There were no reports of injuries or damage immediately following the quake.
