A procession was held Saturday morning to honor a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy who was shot and killed on Monday at a restaurant in Alhambra.
The procession for Deputy Joseph Solano began at 9 a.m. and passed from the East LA area through the Boyle Heights area.
The Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy was shot in the head while standing at the counter of the restaurant in the city of Alhambra.
The man suspected in the shooting, identified as Rhett McKenzie Nelson, 30, of Utah, was arrested Tuesday after a short police chase in Long Beach.
