    Man Arrested After Shooting, Barricade in South LA

    A suspected road rage incident led to vehicles being rammed, a shooting and an hourslong barricade in South Los Angeles Saturday, police said.

    The road rage incident occurred at approximately 5:55 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said. For unknown reasons, a vehicle reported stolen out of Orange County and containing three people began ramming vehicles at a stop light at the intersection of Manchester Boulevard and San Pedro Street., the LAPD said.

    Police said at least four vehicles were struck by the suspected stolen vehicle.

    After one of the vehicles struck began following the suspected stolen vehicle, at least one of people shot back at the trailing vehicle but did not strike anyone, the LAPD said.

    The shooter then fled into a trucking school in the 400 block of East Manchester Boulevard and was believed to be barricaded inside a trailer, police said.

    The other two people in the suspected stolen vehicle fled and their whereabouts were unknown, police said.

    SWAT arrived at the scene and helped end the barricade, Newschopper4 Bravo observed, and Manchester Boulevard was shut down for several blocks with police vehicles flooding the streets around the barricade.

    After the hourslong standoff, a man was led away by police in handcuffs, but it was not immediately clear whether police were searching for two additional people.
