Schwarzenegger Son Condition Improving

His brother took to Twitter to say Christopher, 13, is recovering well.

Christopher Schwarzenegger, the 13-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, is recovering well after a boogie boarding accident hospitalized him with a collapsed lung, broken bones and broken ribs, according to a tweet by his brother, Patrick.

"My brother is doing a lot better," Patrick wrote Sunday, attaching a photo of him donning a t-shirt with his brother's likeness.

Patrick Shriver, 17, and his sister, Katherine, 20, have been using the social media platform to keep the public updated on the condition of their brother since the accident occurred over the July 16 weekend at Escondido Beach in Malibu.

"Thank you guys for ur concern and prayers for my baby brother! He's a tough little guy and getting better! Please keep praying for him! Xo," Katherine wrote on July 22.

The same day Patrick reiterated the sentiment.

"Thank you everyone for your messages about my brother. This kid is strongest kid I ever seen. Keep praying," he wrote.

Christopher is expected to make a full recovery, according to the family's statement.
