    A minivan lead police on a pursuit on Friday that resulted in a crash in Covina.

    Several people were trapped in a vehicle Friday night after a suspected DUI driver led Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies on a chase that ended in a crash in Covina.

    The collision occurred at around 8:45 p.m. in the area of North Barranca Avenue and East Cienega, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

    A gold minivan collided with a white sedan, crashing into the cinder block wall of a home.

    Five people were trapped in the car after the crash. Two people critically injured and a total of five people were transported to a local hospital.

    Authorities are investigating the collision.
