Two utility workers were scalded by radiator coolant while working in a Sherman Oaks building, injuring one seriously, fire officials said.
The men were hurt by a diesel pump in the 3600 block of Stone Canyon Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey. They were taken to a hospital in serious and fair condition.
The LA Department of Water and Power confirmed that two employees received non-electrical burns at the Beverly Glenn Pump Station.
