SoCal Gas Prices Dip Again

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Thursday for the 13th time in 14 days, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.754.

The average price has dropped 5.5 cents over the past 14 days, including a half-cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

It is 2.7 cents less than one week ago and 2.5 cents lower than one month ago, but 10.2 cents higher than one year ago.

As the average gas prices continue to climb some motorists have been searching to get more bang for their buck. Gordon Tokumatsu reports for the NBC4 News on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

The Orange County average price dropped six-tenths of a cent to $3.711, after dipping one-tenth of a cent on Wednesday. It is 1.4 cents less than one week ago and 1.9 cents lower than one month ago, but 11.7 cents more than one year ago.
