Authorities are investigating after swastikas were burned into synthetic grass at a San Dimas home.
The swastikas were created late Wednesday or early Thursday by someone who poured a corrosive substance on the lawn at Ted Ferris' home in San Dimas. Two other swastikas were burned onto pavement about a block away.
The case is being investigated as felony vandalism and a hate crime.
Local Jewish Federation executive director Jason Moss says the frequency of swastika graffiti is concerning.
Repairing the damage could amount to $6,000.
