Sweet Sundays Return to Disney Food & Wine Fest

A day of the week devoted to the celebration of sweets, to paeans to pastries, to the lauding of confections? 

If you've got a tooth that hankers for gooey goodies, then you might be inclined to say that every single day of the week qualifies here.

Because truth? If you crave frosting, cookies, and cakes, you're probably thinking about them Monday through Sunday.

But it is on Sunday when life slows down just a tad, and we can fully embrace the eats we adore so much, at leisure. Disney gets this, and has designated the second weekend day as "Sweet Sunday" over select Sundays at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.

The foodie festival, which includes oodles of savory and sweet dishes to try, and demos, too, is now on at the theme park through Sunday, April 23, 2019.

There shall be several Sweet Sundays during the run, and all of them will shine the spotlight on dessert-y nummies.

Good to note? Not every Sunday is a Sweet Sunday, but several select Sundays will be, beginning on March 10.

A number of fabulous chefs will stop by Disney California Adventure to helm presentations during the Sweet Sunday series, the sort of demos that help home cooks step up their sweets-making game.

First up, on March 10?

Jean-Marc Viallet, Disneyland Resort's Executive Pastry Chef, will be in the spotlight, preparing a "signature dessert." A Q&A, and other tasty goings-on, will be a part of the fun.

The chefs set to appear during the 2019 Sweet Sundays are listed on the site now, so peruse all of the listings and see which ones you'd like to attend.

Of course, if you've got a serious sweet tooth, and affinity for chocolates and caramels and meringues and ice creams and cakes, you may want to be there for all four.
