OC High School Teacher Arrested After Allegedly Engaging in Sexual Conduct with Minor Ex-Student

The pair have allegedly been in a relationship since November

A teacher at an Anaheim high school was arrested Wednesday after deputies in a patrol car spotted her allegedly engaging in "sexual misconduct" with a recently graduated male student in a parked vehicle, officials said.

The pair have allegedly been involved in a relationship since November, according to Jim Amormino, spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Department, which is handling the investigation. The boy and the teacher knew each through all four years of the boy's high school career, authorities said.

They were spotted in a car parked near Beach Boulevard and Starr Street in Stanton (map) at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, he said. They were allegedly engaging in "sexual misconduct," according to authorities.

The teacher was identified as 39-year-old Judy Lee of Brea, Amormino said. She was arrested on suspicion of child molestation.

The unidentified student, who graduated this spring, is being considered a victim.

Lee has been a teacher at Magnolia High School in Anaheim for eight years, Amormino said. The school's website showed that she taught music classes.

Investigators believe sex acts between Lee and the boy took place on campus and elsewhere, officials said.

Authorities said they released a booking photo of Lee because they were concerned there were other victims.
