Thieves Steal $1,000 From Food Kiosks at Americana at Brand in Glendale

A male and a female were caught on surveillance camera breaking into food kiosks on July 28

Police sought the public’s help to identify two people suspected of stealing nearly $1,000 from food kiosks at the Americana at Brand in Glendale.

A male and female burglarized two kiosks at the Americana before dawn on July 28, Glendale police said in a press release.

Video from one location shows the female opening the sliding glass service windows.

The male reaches in and manipulates the cash register screen, then lowers himself through the small service window.

He hits his head on the floor, rendering himself momentarily unconscious.

He then gets out through the window.

Police said they took $980 in cash.

SUSPECT 1: Male, 19-23 years old, 5 foo 9, 160 pounds, with shaggy blond or light brown hair;
SUSPECT 2: Female, 17-23 years old, 5 foot 3, 140 pounds, with long possibly brown hair.
