Truck Crashes Into Sylmar Motel; Four Injured

Six fire engines responded to the scene

A truck crashed into a motel in Sylmar Wednesday morning, with one victim in critical condition and three others also injured.

Los Angeles firefighters responded to the scene, where aerial video showed a pickup truck had slammed into a one-story structure.

The crash occured at 13183 N. San Fernando Rd.

Aerial video showed a signed for the "Roxford Motel," with six fire engines on scene, as well as an ambulance.

Matt Spence of the Los Angeles Fire Department said that one male victim was in critical condition and three others -- two males and a female -- were in "fair" condition. All were transported to a local hospital.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing, Spence said.
