USC Student Killed in Car Crash; Others Hospitalized

The two-vehicle crash occurred just before 3 a.m. Sunday

A USC student was killed in a and at least two others were hospitalized after an early-morning car crash in South Los Angeles on Sunday.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at 2:55 a.m. at Hyde Park and West boulevards (map), Los Angeles police Sgt. Dana Adams of the South Traffic Division said.

The intersection is about 5 miles southwest of USC.

Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said paramedics rushed at least two people to an area hospital.

The conditions of those victims were not immediately known.

No further information was available Sunday morning.
