Video: Whales Spotted at the Los Angeles Harbor

Whales are putting on a show off the coast of Southern California during their annual migration.

NewsChopper4 spotted a few whales Friday inside the Los Angeles Harbor at the breakwater, between the lighthouse and the Cabrillo Beach pier.

Gray whales are currently migrating north from the lagoons of Baja California to feeding grounds in the Arctic.

The whales appear to be feeding in the harbor -- something they don't normally do, according to Capt. Dan Salas of Harbor Breeze Cruises.

If you haven't seen a whale close up now is your best chance. The migration will continue through April.
