Spying a Woody rolling through Malibu? It's been a common and cool sight for decades now. You might expect to see a few surfboards on top, or some towels draped over the backseat, but whatever is inside or atop a classic wood-paneled vehicle, it always seems like it should be headed for a tubular day at the beach. But sometimes Woodies swing inland from the sand, though not too far, when it is time for a festive holiday procession
Such will be the camera-ready case when a row of Woodies pull into Malibu Village on Sunday, Dec. 10. They'll be wearing wreaths and other seasonal accessories, which will look mighty charming, and downright nostalgic, on these old-school wheels. Be there during the afternoon if you dig these still-rollin' gems, and you like seeing a picturesque car decorated in December-cool fashion.
