Anaheim Armed Robbery Caught on Tape

Surveillance photos were released Monday as part of an effort to apprehend two Orange County robbers.

On Jan. 17 about 3 p.m., a man and woman entered a neighborhood market in the 500 block of south Citron Street in Anaheim.

The man produced a handgun, while the woman went behind the counter to collect money, police said.

"While committing the robbery, two uninvolved (men) entered the store. The male suspect told them to get out while waving his gun at them, at which time, the two (men) quickly left the store," police said in a statement.

The male robber is described as being in his 30s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds. He has short black hair and a tattoo on his left arm.

The female robber is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, having a slender build, in her 30s, with long black hair.

They were believed to be driving a white sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, police said.
