CSUN Professor Accused

Authorities have issued a bench warrant for the arrest of a Cal State Northridge math professor, the LA Times reported.

Tihomir Petrov, 43, has been charged with urinating on a colleague's office door, officials said Wednesday, as reported by the LA Times.

When Petrov failed to appear for a pretrial conference hearing in the case, a Superior Court judge issued a warrant last week, the Los Angeles city attorney's office said, as reported by the Times.

Also Petrov's lawyer advised the court that he had not had any recent contact with his client, city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan told The Times.

School officials say yellow flags went up when they saw what they suspected was urine outside another math professor's door.

Petrov was rumored to be in dispute with this colleague.
