Average SoCal Gas Prices Drop for 14th Consecutive Day

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Tuesday for the 14th consecutive day, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $4.023, its lowest amount since April 11.

The average price has decreased 9.7 cents over the past 14 days, including two-tenths of a cent Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.3 cents less than one week ago and 5.5 cents lower than one month ago but 27.3 cents higher than one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped under the $4 mark for the first time since April 12, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent to $3.994.

The Orange County average price has also dropped 14 consecutive days, decreasing 7.3 cents, including two-tenths of a cent on Monday. It is 4 cents less than one week ago and 5.5 cents lower than one month ago but 27.6 cents higher than one year ago.
