Bed-Ridden Graffiti Artist Tags LA, One Blink at a Time

If you think graffiti art -- or art in general -- is reserved for the able-bodied, think again.

Using some super high tech software, the movement of his eyes, and no small amount of determination, one bed-ridden ALS patient was able to tag original grafitti art – virtually – all over Los Angeles, reports LAist.

Meet Eye Writer, described as "the latest ocular assault weapon from the Graffiti Research Lab, openFrameworks and The Ebeling Group... It is a low-cost eye-tracking apparatus + custom software that allows graffiti writers and artists with paralysis resulting from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to draw using only their eyes."

So once you have that technology, what did they do? They went "eye bombing" along the 10 freeway between Alhambra and downtown.
