Beverly White Honored by NABJ LA Chapter for Her 25 Years With NBC4

Beverly White joined KNBC-TV as a general assignment reporter in 1992

NBC4 reporter Beverly White was honored by the National Association of Black Journalists' Los Angeles Chapter on Sunday afternoon for her 25 years with the station.

White was presented with several proclamations, including one from state Sen. Anthony Portantino (D-La Cañada-Flintridge), Los Angeles City Councilman Herb Wesson, Assemblyman Chris Holden (D-Pasadena) and Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas. The ceremony was held at the Tournament of Roses House in Pasadena.

"The room was full of love, respect and admiration for an industry vanguard, our local legend who celebrates an impressive 25 years at NBC4," NABJ LA Chapter President Tre'vell Anderson said in an email.

NBC4 reporters Kim Baldonado and Randy Mac were also in attendance.
