Bruckheimer to Leave Impression on Hollywood

Jerry Bruckheimer will be making a permanent impression on Hollywood Boulevard on Monday.

In a tradition that dates back to the 1920s, the film and television producer will sink his hand and footprints in concrete, alongside more than 200 of Hollywood's elite at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

The ceremony was scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Earning 41 Academy Award nominations and winning six Oscars, Bruckheimer's film producing credits include some of the biggest movies of modern cinema, the Daily News reported:

"Top Gun," "Days of Thunder," "Beverly Hills Cop," "Bad Boys," "Dangerous Minds," "Crimson Tide," "The Rock," "Con Air," "Armageddon," "Enemy of the State," "Gone in 60 Seconds," "Coyote Ugly," "Remember the Titans," "Pearl Harbor," "Black Hawk Down," the "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "National Treasure" franchises.

Bruckheimer is currently working on a new TV series, "Chase." It's an action thriller slated to debut this fall on NBC.

His latest film, "The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" opens on May 28.
