A water main break sent a river of water flooding down Cahuenga Boulevard in Universal City Monday afternoon.
The water main break was flowing from Oakshire Drive to Lankershim near Universal Studios.
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was on scene, but a timeline for when the water would be shut off or stopped was not clear.
