Car Crash Causes Fullerton Power Outage

The driver and another young man remained on the scene after the white Honda collided with the post, and suffered minor injuries.

A car crashed into a power pole and caused a power outage in Fullerton late Wednesday night.

The driver and another young man remained on the scene after the white Honda collided with the post at North Gilbert Street and West Pioneer Drive at around 11:30 p.m. They suffered minor injuries according to Sgt. Goodrich of the Fullerton Police Department. Other passengers who had been in the vehicle fled after the accident.

According to Southern California Edison, 365 homes have been affected, with power expected to be restored at around 6 a.m. Thursday. Initial repairs have already been completed, and additional repair crews have been requested to deal with the problem.
