4 Hurt When Car Crashes Into Downey Business

At least four people were hurt when a car slammed into an electronics business in Downey on Wednesday, fire officials said.

The crash was reported about 3 p.m. in the 8200 block of Firestone Boulevard, according to the Downey Fire Department.

Aerial video showed a red SUV with a wrecked front end smashed into a Net Electronics business, next to a 20/20 Draft House restaurant.

One customer was sprayed with broken glass as the car slammed into the business, ruining one of its doors and side window.

Additional details about the crash were not immediately clear.
