A car flipped over on Sunset Boulevard early Wednesday morning, injuring at least two people, police said.
The crash was reported around 2 a.m. near Roxbury Drive and the Pink Taco restaurant, according to the LAPD. Police shut down a section of Sunset Boulevard for cleaning.
The vehicle slammed into a pole and a fire hydrant, leaving water gushing in the air. The impact to the pole brought down live power lines.
Two people were injured and transported to a hospital. The condition of the two injured was not known.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
Police reopened Sunset Boulevard around 5 a.m.
