A pedestrian was rescued after falling off the Huntington Beach pier into the cold waters below Sunday night, fire officials said.
Video taken at the scene showed lifeguard pulling the fully-clothed man from the water.
When rescuers arrived, the man was clinging to the pier.
A firefighter threw him a ring buoy, while a lifeguard paddled out and brought him back to shore.
The man was cold and shaken up, but he was expected to be OK, fire officials said.
