Universal CityWalk Debuts New Stage With Good Charlotte

The new stage will host a free concert series year round

Good Charlotte served as the opening act for a brand new state-of-the-art concert stage at Universal CityWalk.

The pop-punk band performed to a standing-room only crowd on Thursday night as part of the reveal for CityWalk's new concert stage located next to the cinemas.

The new stage features a state-of-the-art sound system, a giant outdoor screen called "CityVision" and the ability for firework displays, which was featured during the Good Charlotte performance.

The new stage will serve as the center of CityWalk's live performance space, which will help deliver on the promise of "Always Unexpected" entertainment. The space will be the venue of "Plugged In," a free concert series featuring performances by new artists as well as top-selling bands.
