A convict has died after fighting with a fellow inmate in an Orange County prison.
Thiep Truong Nguyen, 49, was critically injured by his 39-year-old cellmate at at Theo Lacy Jail just before midday Tuesday, Orange County Sheriff's Department said.
Nguyen, of Westminster, was found unconscious inside the cell, and died of his injuries at a hospital Wednesday.
The name of the suspect is being withheld pending the outcome of an investigation being conducted by the Orange County District Attorney's Bureau of Investigation.
