A SigAlert was in effect Thursday morning after a crash forced lane closures on a busy freeway connector southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
Traffic backed up early Thursday on the southbound 5 Freeway after the crash closed lanes on the connector road to the westbound 10 Freeway. The crash was reported at about 4:30 a.m.
Traffic was slow from the 170 Freeway until the lanes reopened late Thursday morning.
A guardrail was damaged in the crash, involving a big rig and car.
