Exactly two weeks after voters went to the polls the race for Los Angeles Council District 5 is finally over.
The Channel 4 News has learned David Vahedi will concede the race to Paul Koretz.
Sources told NBC4 reporter Robert Kovacik that despite several voting irregularities and procedural problems and a very close race, David Vahedi plans to concede Wednesday.
Since election day former Assemblyman Paul Koretz had held a thin lead over neighborhood council member David "Ty" Vahdei in the race to succeed Jack Weiss as the District 5 city councilman.
