Disneyland's Space Mountain Reopens After Man Climbed Off Moving Ride

The ride was briefly closed after a passenger forced their way off the ride while it was in motion.

Disneyland's Space Mountain ride re-opened today after state officials concluded their investigation into how a guest at the theme park got off the roller coaster while it was in motion on Tuesday.

Luke Brown, a spokesman for Cal/OSHA, the state agency that investigated the incident, said the ride was cleared at 9:10 a.m. on Friday.

An unidentified man in his 20s "forced" his way off the ride despite a lap-bar restraint during a slow portion of the ride. He escaped injury but was taken to an area hospital as a precaution, officials said.
