Dodgers Love the Bruins… But Just Tonight

It's easy for Bruins to show fan spirit for the Los Angeles Dodgers -- both teams wear blue.

Oh wait, UCLA is more of a powder blue. It doesn't matter because the Bruins are taking center stage at the Dodger game Thursday night.

It's officially UCLA Night, reports the Daily News. What does that mean? Well the team will pay tribute to the university both before and during the game.

We're not sure exactly what they're going to do. We know that UCLA's ROTC is part of the program. But we also know UCLA night does not mean free or discounted beer and Dodger dogs for the Bruins.

The two have a nice history together. Eight UCLA alumni played for the Dodgers, including Hall of Fame member Jackie Robinson who was just honored there Wednesday night. Eric Karros holds the Dodgers career record for home runs.

Don't worry Trojans, you're not being ignored, you just have to wait. USC night is in September.
