A big tree fell on Bayside Drive in Newport Beach Saturday afternoon blocking traffic on the street, police said.
Bayside just east of El Paseo Drive was closed to traffic, the Newport Beach Police Department said in a statement released at about noon.
The tree was cleared just after 1 p.m., police said.
