Evacuations Ordered Due to Chemical Fire at Brea Aerospace Manufacturing Plant

The early morning fire was reported at Bristol Industries in northern Orange County

Plant employees and nearby residents were evacuated overnight during a chemical fire at an aerospace manufacturing plant in Brea.

The fire was reported at 2:53 a.m. at Bristol Industries at 630 E. Lambert Road. Lambert Road was closed in both directions between State College Boulevard and Cliffwood Avenue.

Workers were being checked out for exposure to chemicals inside the plant. No injuries were reported.

Evacuations were lifted later Thursday morning.
