The cold, windy blast that swept through LA Tuesday night wasn't around for long. Although many residents woke up Wednesday to below- and near-freezing temperatures at higher elevations, warmer temperatures are in the holiday forecast.
It will be sunny Wednesday and over the following two days, and highs Thursday and Christmas Day will be two to five degrees higher than Wednesday.
