A fiery eight-vehicle crash sent six people to the hospital on the southbound 215 Freeway in Perris on Saturday night, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck was reported just after 5 p.m. in the area of 4th Street, CHP officials said.
Six people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Officials initially said three people were hospitalized, but later revised that number.
The freeway was eventually reopened.
No further information was immediately available.
