Flights delayed at LAX after reports of suspicious package

Some flights were affected at LAX after reports of a possible suspicious package Friday night. 

After investigating, police determined the package was not dangerous.

Passengers were being asked to avoid the area and check their flight status with their airlines, according to a spokesperson with LAX.
