Maybe you've seen them at a nearby table.
Perhaps you're dating one. If so, you know the rules: No eating until we get just the right shot. Stop shaking the table.
They're food pornographers. Food-photophiles whose food pictures look so good, you can taste it.
They have a macro feature on their camera and they're not afraid to use it. Once the texture and color are captured, the photo is usually just a USB cable away from a "Food Photos" Facebook album and comments like, "Mmmm" and "That looks soooo goooood."
A great meal is even better if you can share it. So local food bloggers want to help you take your best shot with a "Phototasting" workshop.
The workshop is Saturday at downtown's new Hilton Checkers Hotel. It's $45, and the enrollment fee includes the models (real food). Most of the food models will be provided by Chef Todd Allison.
