Glendale police are investigating what appears to be a murder suicide, possibly between two brothers in their 50s.
Police found the door open and a man in his 50s dead at 3:30 a.m. at an apartment complex on Northwoods Lane near Pennsylvania Avenue, said Tahnee Lightfoot, a spokeswoman for the Glendale Police Department.
While police were investigating, they got a call of a possible suicide of a man also in his 50s who appeared to have jumped from an overpass at the Ventura (134) and Glendale (2) freeways, Lightfoot said.
"Based on the investigation so far, we believe that the two are tied," Lightfoot said in a Wednesday morning news conference.
The names of the dead men were withheld and police didn't say how the man in the apartment died.
