A fatal traffic crash in Hermosa Beach Wednesday prompted a partial closure of Pacific Coast Highway.
The crash prompted the closure of northbound PCH between 21st Street and Artesia Boulevard, the city of Hermosa Beach reported at about 3 a.m.
The fatally injured woman was identified by the Los Angeles County coroner's office as Brianna Pugh, 24, whose hometown was not known.
The roadway was reopened about 9 a.m., according to reports from the scene. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
