A Hollywood Hills home reportedly valued at nearly $11 million was the target of a home-invasion robbery Thursday night.
Neighbors said the victims are a wealthy family from Saudi Arabia moved in several months ago, though authorities would not confirm who lives at the home.
The residents have a $2 million Bugatti sports car, according to neighbors.
Bacal had listed the house for sale for $10.9 million, according to its listing on freshpalace.com, which stated that the home was crafted by European designer Luca Colombo.
The robbers entered through an unlocked door and made off with jewelry and other valuables from a safe, Los Angeles Police Department officials said.
There were people inside the property at the time of the incident, but no one was seriously injured during the robbery, which took place at about 6 p.m., Detective Scott Smith said.

"It's very, very unusual for this area," Smith said. "You can consider it a high-profile case."
A security guard at the home on Friday said that a cook was slightly hurt when confronting the suspect during the robbery.
A neighbor said screams were heard.
Neighbor Astrid Bryan, a reality television star in Belgium, said she was horrified.
"I can’t believe it," Bryan said. Nothing ever happens here."
The home is surrounded by surveillance cameras, according to signs posted on the property.
