Home of the “Last Honest Pizza” Robbed

Deputies searched Tuesday for a man who robbed a Round Table Pizza restaurant in Lake Forest and fled with an undetermined amount of cash, authorities said.

The bandit, who was armed with a handgun, robbed the eatery in the 22700 block of Lambert Street, near Lake Forest Drive, just before 9:15 p.m. Monday, said Lt. Lloyd Downing of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators did not immediately determine how much money was taken from the business, Downing said. No customers or employees were injured during the holdup, he added.

The robber was described as a white man of about 19 or 20, about 6 feet tall, with short hair. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket, white shirt and blue jeans, according to the Sheriff's Department.
