Authorities are warning residents in the Windsor Square neighborhood to demand identification from visitors dressed as city workers.
City officials and police said a home was robbed Friday morning by two men dressed as city workers. The men were disguised as Department of Water and Power employees.
Authorities said residents should demand authentic identification before opening the door.
The neighborhood is about five miles west of downtown Los Angeles.
