The "Asian Gang Team" of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department busted up huge marijuana grow house in Fontana Friday.

A search warrant was served at a residence on the 5900 block of Wilshire Drive, Fontana.   When deputies entered the location they "found evidence of a major marijuana cultivation operation, and a male adult suspect was detained," according to a news release issued by deputies.

The 4-bedroom home is located in a quiet, well-groomed neighborhood.

"Upon entry, deputies found Suspect Lanson Quin and detained him. A further search of the home revealed overwhelming evidence of marijuana cultivation including special lighting and hydroponic (watering systems) equipment throughout the home.

About 1,800 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $2 million were recovered. Investigators were at the residence late into the day collecting evidence and processing the scene. Lanson Quin was arrested and booked at Industry Sheriff’s Station for felony cultivation of marijuana," the release stated.
