Woman Found in Recycling Plant Identified

The body of a woman in her 20s to 40s was found in a dumpster in Anaheim.

Authorities have identified a woman whose body was found in a trash bin at an Anaheim recycling plant Friday.

Police were treating the case of 21-year-old Jarrae Nikole Estepp as a homicide.

Officers responded on a suspicious circumstances call to the 1100 block of North Blue Gum Street, according to the Anaheim Police Department.

The investigation was taking place inside a recycling center.

Police believe the body was transported to the facility in a truck.

The center collects trash from Northern Orange County and some parts of Los Angeles County.

"The body came in, it was dumped," said Lt. Tim Schmidt, of the Anaheim Police Department. It was during the separation of the trash process that the body was discovered, he added.
