IHOP restaurants offer unlimited pancakes starting Jan. 2, 2015 and challenge patrons to eat all they can eat via social media campaign titled #Panuary.

Just as many Americans are contemplating their New Year's Resolution, IHOP – in a cruel twist of syrupy fate – is offering unlimited pancakes.

The promotion kicked off Friday coinciding with another deal of a "Never Empty Coffee Pot."

IHOP fans took to Twitter to respond with expletives of joy, and tweets such as:

"@IHOP I [love] IHOP. Our love affair goes way back," wrote ‏@StaceyStacyLO.

"@1800PaulWall @IHOP omg this is a sign from god," wrote another breakfast fan @naaatalieroseee.

IHOP wants patrons who are eating all they can eat to snap photos of their empty plates.

"Grab a team of friends, family or coworkers and come see how many plates of unlimited pancakes you can conquer together,” the Facebook page read.

The breakfast franchise asked patrons to post photos to Instagram using the hashtag "#Panuary."

The sweet deal will last until Feb. 8 at participating restaurants.

    It is for dine-in only.
