Judge Orders Release of Grand Jury Testimony in Seal Beach Massacre

"Highly sensitive" portions of the testimony in the case against Scott Dekraii will remain sealed.

An Orange County judge has ordered the release of portions of the grand jury testimony in the case against the man accused of fatally shooting eight people in a rampage at a Seal Beach hair salon.

Superior Court Judge Thomas M. Goethals said sensitive portions of the testimony will remain sealed, but that the release of some of the details would not hinder the defense of their client Scott Evans Dekraai, a former tugboat crewman.

Dekraai is accused of killing his ex-wfe, Michelle Fournier, and seven others at the Salon Meritage.

Among the information to remain sealed are details relating to Dekraai's "very young son," Goethals said.
