No, Not That Rodeo

About 60 miles east of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills you'll find another rodeo where glitz and glamor don't count for a whole lot.

All that really matters is that you stay on that bull.

Cowboys big and small will be riding, roping and wrestling as the 25th annual Norco Mounted Posse-Professional Rodeo Cowboys'  Association Rodeo gets under way.

The three-day event at Ingalls Park is scheduled to start at 5 p.m., Friday with  a greeting from Miss Norco Mounted Posse Rodeo Queen Jessica Saenz, followed  by a bareback riding competition and steer roping and wrestling contests.

At about 7:30 p.m., kids 6 years and up will try their hand at "mutton  busting," staying aboard fast-moving sheep for a score.

The main event -- bull riding -- is set for 8 p.m. Nationally  competitive riders will struggle to make 8 seconds on PRCA stock bulls,  interspersed with the antics of rodeo clown Slim Garner, according to event  organizers.

A "cowboy dance" is set for 9 p.m., featuring music by the Doo Wah  Riders.

The event continues Saturday and wraps up Sunday with a "Challenged  Riders Rodeo."
